Description
To get the best results from Holo Heal and Finishing Polish, you need the right applicator. These high-density foam swabs are designed to gently apply restoration compounds to your trading cards without scratching delicate foils or leaving a mess behind.
Each swab guarantees a clean, lint-free finish. The durable foam head will not crumble or peel during use. It is soft enough for sensitive holographics but firm enough to buff out imperfections. The non-absorbent design keeps the product exactly where you need it, preventing waste and maximizing your efficiency.

Directions to Use
For Holo Heal:
Apply a small amount of Holo Heal directly to the foam tip. Gently work the compound into the targeted area of the card's holographic foil using small, circular motions. Once applied, switch to a clean microfibre cloth and gently buff the area. This buffing action helps blend the compound and restores the foil’s clarity and shine.
For Finishing Polish:
Apply a small amount of Finishing Polish directly to the foam tip. Using light, controlled pressure, apply the polish to the card surface in small, circular motions to lift minor imperfections and dullness. Once worked in, immediately wipe off the polish gently with a clean microfibre cloth, ensuring no residue is left behind to dry on the card.
Important Tips:
- Protect Your Edges: Always keep liquid compounds away from the raw edges of the card. Introducing moisture to unprotected cardstock can cause irreversible edge swelling.
- Never Spray the Card: Always apply formulas to your swab first, never directly to the card.
- Avoid Cross-Contamination: Use a separate swab for different formulas (e.g., one specifically for Holo Heal, and a new one for Finishing Polish).
- Practice First: As always, practice on lower-value bulk cards to master the pressure and technique before working on your main collection.
